Cancelling an eligible online purchase
Tell us within 14 days after delivery if you wish to cancel an eligible online purchase. Email theteam@buyfactorydirect.irish with your order number and a clear statement that you wish to cancel. You then have a further 14 days to send the goods back. Contact us for the correct return address before posting.
You may handle goods as needed to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning. Handling beyond this can reduce the refund if it diminishes their value. Please return all parts and, where possible, the packaging. You pay the direct return postage for a change of mind; we cover reasonable return costs for faulty or incorrect goods.
Refunds
We refund the product price and the cost of our standard outbound delivery within 14 days of your cancellation notice, using the original payment method. We may withhold the refund until we receive the goods or evidence that you sent them, whichever is earlier. Extra charges for an upgraded delivery service are not refundable.
Exceptions
The cancellation right has legal exceptions, including goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised goods, and sealed goods unsuitable for return for health or hygiene reasons once unsealed. We will identify an applicable exception before you buy. Faulty-goods rights still apply.
Faulty, damaged or incorrect goods
Contact us promptly with your order number and a description of the problem. Your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2022 apply independently of the cancellation period. We will arrange the appropriate remedy and any necessary return at no cost to you.
